My dogs routinely visit Uptown Hounds for daycare. Bailey, my Australian Shepherd, needed activity for both her behavior and health. We went to the vet today for her annual check up. She had lost 11 pounds since last year! I truly cannot recommend Uptown Hounds enough.
Our Labrador, Baxter, has been going to Uptown Hounds for almost 4 years now. He gets so excited when we talk about “school” and “Miss Sarah” (his favorite person ever). When he walks in the door and hears Miss Sarah’s voice, he gets so excited and won’t even turn around to tell us bye. They are all very kind and check-in and check-out is a breeze. Baxter does daycare, swims, and has stayed for countless weekend trips. 10/10 recommend!
We are new to the area and weren’t sure where to board our dogs for vacation. We took a chance with Uptown Hounds and are SO happy that we did. They have been so wonderful to us and our furry babies. Our dogs are not the best behaved and are high maintenance and they never bat an eye to our requests. Thank you so much for making us feel comfortable and our pups feel so loved!
My family has always used uptown hounds for boarding. I finally took my puppy there for a week while I was gone and he absolutely loved it! I got an update at the end of his stay with a picture. He also got groomed while he was there and they did a fantastic job. Will definitely be sending him back when I go out of town again. As well as looking into doggy daycare and training. And they already have us hooked on the grooming, will definitely be sending him there regularly for that! Thank you Uptown Hounds!
The best dog care people ever.
I've been bringing my dogs to various dog care places for the past 10 years in 3 states.
Uptown hounds is well managed, efficient operation with on-site Veterinary care and a pool for the dogs. My dog always perks up in the car when she recognizes our destination and is eager to go in.
We love uptownhounds. The staff is incredibly friendly and communicates well, and our dog absolutely loves them. We travel for work fairly regularly for up to a week or so at a time and worried about leaving her the first couple of trips, but now when our dog sees our suitcases packed (and hers too) she knows it's time to go to uptownhounds and she gets excited. They take great care of her and send pictures daily so we know she is happy and safe. We love that they have options for private suites and play time as our dog is timid and defensive around others. So it ensures she has the space she needs to feel safe and the play time she needs to get a good mental and physical workout in each day.
Just got my dog back from there, and he had a great time. They give a progress report with a little note from my dog. Was cute and put a smile on my face. Included was a couple of photos of him in his room and playtime area. Definitely will look into getting him into daytime trips back.
Everyone was very inviting and loved on my pup before and after. Great environment. Dax was so shiny and smelled so good after his bath!! We will be back!
